Can You Reverse Rheumatoid Arthritis Naturally?

by Mr Vigour

This is a question I was asked recently.

Disclaimer! We’re not going to treat, diagnose or cure any illness or disease because apparently only medical professionals can do that…

What we’re going to do is take that disease label away, and look at the symptoms of joint pain to address nutritional deficits that may be contributing to the condition.

In people diagnosed with RA, you’ll see as mobility gets worse they spend less time outside and unfortunately their condition advances even further. But I wonder if it’s the other way around, that the less sunshine they get the worse mobility becomes…

I looked at the clinical data so you don’t have to.

It showed that 84% of RA patients have low vitamin D, and that’s why the first thing I would do is supplement with a high dose vitamin D3 complex with added vitamin K2, calcium and black pepper to boost absorption and utilization. Vitamin D is essential for healthy joints.

Depending on mobility and individual conditions, I would also try to get a person with RA to spend time sitting outside in the sunshine daily with their sleeves rolled up soaking in the suns rays on as much bare skin as possible. It can take months to restore adequate vitamin D from direct sunlight in people who are chronically low, and other obstacles like mobility, weather, or skin health can hinder sun absorption which is why supplementation is the best option for fast results.

The second thing I would do is take an Irish Sea Moss complex that contains powerful anti-inflammatory compounds, as well as all 102 essential vitamins and minerals your body needs to thrive. Irish Sea Moss contains a compound called fucoidan which specifically supports healthy joints and cartilage repair which makes this the perfect choice for people experiencing joint pain.

The third compound I would take is collagen, because that’s the raw material you need for joint health. There’s two ways you can do this. The easiest way is to take my collagen supplement containing all 5 types of collagen for a full spectrum solution.

The second option for collagen is getting it from your diet. The way to do that is by cooking meals that include animal bones in the cooking like stews, the classic chicken noodle soup with real chicken bones, lamb shanks, or you can get bone marrow from the butchers.

While we’re talking about diet, oxalates, aka oxalic acid, is another contributing factor to the symptoms of RA. Oxalates in foods can create little calcium crystals that accumulate in joints causing inflammation and pain.

High oxalate accumulation can also cause kidney stones. The peer reviewed medical literature also concluded that a “high incidence of renal stones was observed in patients with RA.”

It’s important to come off oxalates slowly because when the body flushes out excess oxalates it causes what’s known as “oxalate dumping” which produces detox symptoms and you might not feel very good during that.

I recommend assessing your diet and slowly removing oxalate rich foods over a 4 to 6 week period of time to reduce the risk of oxalate dumping, and replacing those foods with low oxalate alternatives.

Foods high in oxalates to avoid are:

  • FRUITS - raspberries, oranges, grapefruit, canned or dried pineapple, dried figs or prunes, dates, kiwi
  • VEGETABLES - spinach, carrots, rhubarb, green beans, beets, rutabaga, turnips, parsnips, eggplant, leeks, okra, summer squash, parsley, edamame
  • GREENS - swiss chard, beet greens, mustard greens, dandelion greens, spinach, collards, escarole
  • POTATOES - Potatoes, potato chips, French fries, sweet potatoes, yams
  • TOMATOES - Tomato sauce or paste, canned
  • LEGUMES - baked beans, refried beans, black beans, white beans, great northern beans, navy beans, chickpeas, fava beans, kidney beans, tofu, miso and other soy products
  • NUTS & SEEDS - almonds, cashews, peanuts, peanut butter, pecans, and nut butters made from sesame seeds or tahini
  • BEVERAGES - chocolate /chocolate containing beverages (hot cocoa, Ovaltine, chocolate milk, etc.) soy milk, tea, instant coffee, colas, carob ice cream
  • STARCHES - grits, barley, bulgur, cornmeal, buckwheat, whole wheat bread, pastas, tortillas, bran, wheat germ, wheat bran & bran cereal, cream of wheat, shredded wheat

Fascinatingly, meat, fish and eggs contain ZERO oxalates! Many people who experience RA are finding relief through carnivore type diets, however that’s a topic best left for another post.

When you do eat oxalate rich foods, and especially while you’re getting them out of your diet, it’s best to pair that food item with a calcium rich food, like some cheese or sardines etc because the calcium can bind to oxalate during digestion so it passes in a bowel movement rather than be absorbed into the body. The supplement Limitless will also help bind and remove excess oxalates from your body and joints.

If you’re getting kidney stones, or suffer from urinary tract or kidney pain while you’re changing diet, then I strongly recommend using a supplement that supports the urinary system, promotes increased urine flow, and helps to safely remove oxalates and dissolve stones. Check this one out here:

You’ll also want to make sure you’re drinking enough clean filtered water every day. Generally it’s about a gallon of water daily that adult humans need. The exact equation is 1/4 gallon per 55 pounds of body weight every day as a minimum requirement, which is 1L per 25kg, and more if you’re outdoors or exercising.

I’d also recommend getting a hydrogen water bottle so you can add molecular hydrogen to your drinking water because there’s some data to show it can improve health challenges plus it will help flush out toxins like oxalates that are contributing to RA.

All of these suggestions will help significantly improve the symptoms people with RA experience, because they address nutritional deficits and root cause issues. Give it a good 90 days on the supplements so they have time to work deep in the joints, and use that time to make the dietary changes so you can see faster results!

Don’t let poor health steal your crown. It was bought and paid for by the King of Kings!
