Discerning the devil in healing

A common question amongst Christians in the realm of health and healing is if the healing methods are born of God, or of the devil.

God says “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge!” (Hosea 4:6) So let me give you the quickest way to discern the truth, coming from a man who spent a decade in the New Age and Occult before being saved by Jesus.

Satan manipulates, God observes.

You’ll want to save that so you can always come back to it.

You see it’s a common theme throughout the Bible. Satan is constantly trying to manipulate people, places and things. He never creates anything new, he imitates and perverts that which is already created.

And God, He observes. He observes His creations and His people, and then He acts according to what He observes. Like when He observed the wickedness of Sodom and Gomorrah and then destroyed the city, or when He observed the righteousness of Daniel and saved him in the lions den.

We are made in the image and likeness of God, which means it’s natural for us to follow in His footsteps.

So take herbal medicine for instance. We observe Gods creation, which is the plant or herb, and we observe the effect it has in the human body, and then we can learn how to use that herb for healing while praising the Lord for creating it.

Iridology is another great example. We can observe God’s creation, which is the patterns and colors of the 28,000 nerve fibers in the iris, and then we can act based on the analysis of those observations. There’s no manipulation involved, no predictions, divinations or energies, it’s purely the science of observing and analyzing God’s creation so we know how to act appropriately to facilitate health and healing, while also offering the Lord praise for fearfully and wonderfully making us.

Now compare that to something like homeopathy, which takes God’s creation like a plant or organism, and then manipulates it into a frequency to create an essence for you to consume. It takes God out of the situation by removing the physical plant or organism, and inserts man in His place with a man-made artificial compound. And that essence in homeopathy is intended to manipulate your bio frequency too.

Do you understand? You’re skipping God’s creation, and instead utilizing a creation of man that is only a shadow, or an essence, of the real thing.

And, homeopathy is designed to manipulate an energy system of your body that God created for His Holy Spirit to use. Energetics is God’s realm, not ours. Homeopathy is an imitation and perversion of God’s herbal medicine.

Yoga is another prime example of demonic oppression disguised as natural healing. It’s literally designed to manipulate and distort the posture of your body so you can yoke with, and worship, false deities that we Christian’s know to be demons.

Reiki also takes God out of the equation and is intended to manipulate your energy system. It perverts the supernatural healing power of the Lord, and substitutes it with man and “the universe”. It’s a counterfeit of laying hands and deliverance.

Ayahuasca, which is an Amazonian rainforest remedy, DMT which is similar, and psilocybin mushrooms are all designed to manipulate your psyche to force hallucinations and visions. Christians know that God is the dream-giver, He is responsible for dreams and visions of our future. Even though these 3 methods are all plant based and created by God, they’re being perverted to replace God because hallucinations are not God’s doing, they’re of the devil, and hallucinations are designed to manipulate your thoughts and actions. Using these plants also illegally accesses the spiritual realm, and it gives demons legal right to interfere with your life.
