In January 2020, as COVID-19 was breaking, I did a deep dive into the medical literature, analyzing how the virus enters cells, how to block that process, which compounds can stop its replication, and how to support the immune system without triggering a cytokine storm. I also examined the origins of the virus and publicly stated that it came from a lab.

One of my final acts on social media before taking an almost four-year break was sharing my findings with the members of a private Facebook group I had at the time in the hopes they would use it to stay safe and protect themselves.

Fast forward to January 2025, and the White House confirmed COVID-19 was leaked from a lab in Wuhan (in case you missed it). But what’s been absent from public discussion over the last five years is the most crucial information:

  1. How the virus actually enters your cells
  2. How to stop it from replicating inside your body

You’d think these topics would have been widely and aggressively debated, but instead, they were silenced. It’s time to have that conversation, for the sake of those still suffering from long COVID. I pray, in Jesus’ mighty name, that this information reaches the people who need it.

To the best of my knowledge, I’ve never had COVID, so all I can say is that this approach has worked for me. What I’m about to share isn’t speculation; it’s all from published medical literature, and you can research it for yourself.

Covid isn’t just a virus, it’s a test of how strong and clean your body’s internal terrain is. If your immune system is sluggish, your detox pathways are backed up, and inflammation is already present, you are an easy host for viral takeover. Instead of living in fear, it would be wiser to make your body inhospitable to infection and stop the virus at two critical points:

  1. Prevent it from entering your cells by blocking ACE2 receptors.
  2. Stop it from replicating by inhibiting the 3CL protease enzyme.

COVID-19 enters your cells through the ACE2 Receptors. You can use ACE2 inhibitors to block that doorway.

The virus hijacks ACE2 receptors which are found in the cells that make up your lungs, heart, kidneys, and blood vessels. It uses this receptor site like a doorway to gain access to your cells so it can start replicating. That’s why people with compromised health in those areas like cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and hypertension have been more susceptible to the virus, and why people have experienced long term symptoms in those bodily areas.

If you can reduce ACE2 expression or block viral binding, you can cut off its entry point before it has a chance to replicate in the cells.

Natural ACE2 Inhibitors to block viral entry

  • Quercetin – Powerful flavonoid that also helps zinc enter cells.
  • Resveratrol – Protects vascular function and downregulates ACE2.
  • Curcumin (Turmeric) – Potent anti-inflammatory and ACE2 modulator.
  • Baicalin (Chinese Skullcap) – The most potent natural ACE2 inhibitor I found, and interestingly it comes from China and it blocks the China virus. I ordered a large bag of it at the start of the pandemic.
  • Green Tea (EGCG) – Modulates ACE2 expression and has antiviral properties.
  • Berberine – Supports metabolic health and regulates ACE2 function.
  • NAC (N-Acetyl Cysteine) – Lowers ACE2 vulnerability and clears lung mucus.
  • Glycyrrhizin - ACE2 inhibitor found in licorice root.

Important Warning: If you have a COMT gene mutation, be cautious with quercetin, green tea, and resveratrol, as they may not metabolize well in your body. This is why getting your genes tested is crucial, because you need to know how YOUR body handles these compounds before using them. 3CL Protease: The Virus’ Replication Engine

Once inside your cells, the virus uses the 3CL protease enzyme to replicate itself and spread throughout your body. If you can inhibit 3CL protease, you can potentially stop the virus in its tracks before it causes severe damage.

Natural 3CL Protease Inhibitors to stop viral replication

  • Black Seed Oil (Thymoquinone) – One of the most potent natural inhibitors.
  • Quercetin – Dual-action: blocks both ACE2 and 3CL protease.
  • Green Tea (EGCG) – Also effective against both ACE2 and 3CL.
  • Citrus Bioflavonoids (Hesperidin & Naringenin) – Found in orange peels & grapefruit.
